(it won’t work in MN or FL but it does in NJ)1st: Fert+Crabgrass Preventer on TAX DAY (Apr 15) [not a holiday for us but it is for Uncle Sam]2nd: Weed and Feed (Memorial Day)3rd: Summer Feeding (July 4th)4th: Fall Feeding (Labor Day)optional 5th that Scotts has (Halloween or a week or 2 earlier)Programs are usually 4 steps. Even Scotts are 4 steps but they do have an optional 5th for people who have to be green, thick, growing and mowing first on their block.If you want Grub protection you can put down Scotts Grubex or Bayer Merit (same active ingredient) toward the end of June.As for seeding, you should only have to touch up in the fall (Sept) and only if you see bare spots then.
