If this is your first offense and your background is not soiled, then NO you will not spend time in Jail, but you will get Probation and a restitution fine. Walk the straight and narrow. If your a teen-ager, and first offense, then it won’t…

Get a lawyer and try to negotiate a plea bargain. You should be able to avoid jail time for a first offense. The penalty will vary from state to state. I looked up Connecticut law since that was the first to come up on google, and the crime…

Very true. I’ve known people get 18 months for manslaughter and between 6-8 years for a section 18. Like Wizard66 said, it very much depends on which judge you get, if it goes to trial you have a jury so it’s a lot worse if they find you gu…

Do you think Tom Kaulitz will go to jail? What about the Afghans on Tour?
Q: We all know about the Tom Kaulitz and Afghan’s on Tour incident right? if not look it up, but he hit that girl for a good reason. Im not in Germany and not getting updates. What do you think will happen to them and this whole situation. Or at least do you have any details?
A: I honestly believe that Tom should not go to jail.. What the Afghans on Tour did was a lot worse! They claim to be fans, but they’re literally trying to make their lives a living nightmare. I think these girls need help more than anything. And I bet the law will see it the same way.. Not only does every celebrity get off easy, but the Afghans have done started it all in my opinion. TEAM TOM!
Do you think my brother will go to jail for this?
Q: My brother is an adult on probation for 2 different misdemeanors. He was stupid and assulted his wife. So he got another class C misdemeanor for family assult. He was already behind on his payments to his PO. So do you think he will end up in jail? He lives in texas. What does the law say? what is breaking probation?
A: Being on probation carries two responsibilities. First is that you obey the rules given ( called sanctions) and the second is that you obey all laws. The fact that he was at least cited for Domestic Violence is a probation violation. What happens usually depends on the outcome of the (new) criminal offense that is charged. Whether his PO will let him remain out or lock him up is a judgment call.Basic thought on your question: If he is found guilty of the DV charge, he will be remanded back to jail for the rest of his original sentences PLUS whatever time he is given on the DV itself.Best of luck and I hope you can find this useful
What team do you think Michael Vick will go to when he gets out of jail in December 2009?
Q: I’m thinking Dallas because they deal with troublemakers (T.O., Pacman, and Tank Johnson) and they could use Vick as a running back or a steady backup quarterback to Romo. Also I’m thinking Oakland because Davis might be stupid enough to pick him up.
A: Unlike Pac-man who was only out for a year I think Vick will be more like Ricky Williams. He was great player but I do not think he can get back to where he was after being out for so long. It still has not been decided if he can even come back yet. It is tough to decide which team he would go to though if he were allowed. He would have to play behind someone until he could prove he was his old self. I do not think Dallas would take him even though they do have the track record of taking problem players. I think one of the weaker teams will take a gamble on him. A team that needs a QB but does not mind risking losing while he gets the rust off. I know that did not answer question but I think it is to early to decide currently. Maybe Cleveland, Minnesota.
