Q: I’ve never been one for eating breakfast, but I’ve become much more health conscious as I’ve gotten older, and I’m really trying hard to include the “most important meal of the day.” I’ve heard that eggs are the best thing to eat for breakfast…is that true? A: Here’s a list: fresh fruit, eggs, toast (as you mentioned, though a little butter won’t hurt-I use Land o Lakes butter & olive oil spread), yogurt, oatmeal, cream of wheat, fresh juices (especially grape,full of flavonids,antioxidants,more than any other), veg. juices,( V 8 smoothies are great). I could go on & on. But, I feel you get the point. A suggestion ? Scrape vit. C supplements. There’s more than enough in the juices. There’s a new Mega- Antioxidants that’s fabulous.

A: Puffins cereal! I’d highly recommend the Cinnamon or Original variety…six grams of fiber per serving and only 100 calories! I eat them dry and they always hold me over until lunch! 🙂
