Q: I was 10 wks pregnant and found out that I had a miscarriage yesturday? I was so upset when the doctors told me and I didnt really think about asking questions, however I should have cause I have a lot of questions unanswerd! I am hoping someone on here answer some of my questions, until I receive a phone call back from the doctor!! The doctor told me there was some type of infections that casued the miscarriage, however I cant remember if he said it was me that had the infection that caused the miscarriage or if the baby had some type of infections. He said, the baby looks liek it stop growing at 8-9 wks. Does anyone know anymore information about this kind of miscarriag, if so could you please tell me a little bit about it!! I am suppose to hear back from my doctor tomorrow!! But I am looking for a little info if possible tonight!! Thank you for anyone willing to talk to me about this!!

A: I’m so sorry for your loss 🙁 The same thing happened to my boyfriend’s sister-in-law. She was in her 7th month and all the doctor could tell her was that it was caused by some kind of infection. They’ve ran a lot of tests and still aren’t sure of the answer, unfortunately. I hope your doctor is able to provide you some answers to all your questions. A: I hope you are feeling OK. About four months ago, I also miscarried at 10 weeks. It is heart wrenching, but let me say that it gets better. I had a urinary tract infection that was diagnosed a few days after my miscarriage. Did this cause it? I was told no, but of course I will always wonder. I was mostly told “these things happen…” And, sad to say, they do. Please don’t ever think it was something you did or didn’t do. I just thought about the fact that I want a healthy baby, and that one obviously wasn’t. I hope your doctor was able to shed more light. It is hard to believe that they could tell if the baby had an infection at such an early stage. Good luck and God bless.
