Morning sickness remedy?
Q: I have it every day and I’m 10 weeks. We found out extremely early that I was pregnant; around 2-3 weeks and I’ve had it ever since. I had barely any with my first, so I think this is either a girl, or something is wrong. My doctor can’t get me in for my first appointment until November 18th and I’ll be about 14 weeks then. But I am so tired of always being sick. Foods or smells don’t even cause it. Nothing really does. So I don’t know what it could be. I heard you get really sick with a miscarriage but I feel fine except for the nausea which isn’t severe, just annoying. I eat a can of soup every day I get it, dry toast, and apples also seem to help. Any other ideas?? I’d prefer not to take any medicines. Yeah I don’t know what’s worse, the vomiting or the morning sickness without it….hm….. I just gag all of the time lol gross. So omg changing my son’s diaper is the worst. Even thinking about it is making me sick. Even if it’s not stinky, it’s just so bad. I feel bad like I’m gagging at him lol. And he always wants to play and I can’t and then he looks sad and then I get sad and it’s just sad lol. Get my point?? lol
A: You may be able to alleviate nausea by keeping somefood in your stomach — by avoiding having a stomach that’s completely empty or completely full. Here are some other dietarysuggestions for preventing or relieving nausea:Eat smaller meals or snacks frequently throughout the day.Have a small snack at bedtime and when you get up to go to the bathroom at night.Avoid foods and smells that trigger nausea.Drink fewer fluids with your meals.Generally morning sickness is not dangerous. But if you get dehydrated,it may affect your baby.Hope it helps
Please help, i need to know!!!!!!!!?
Q: well, to start off me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for a little over 2 years.we haven’t been following any particular procedure just we have been intimate hoping nature takes its course. i am a little over weight and my weight fluctuates over time. well i also have crazy periods, i first got my period when i was 16 and the are very irregular. but here recently about a month ago i was having spotting, it was either reddish brown to pink to a light red, it lasted a few days. on and off. and after sex i would spot. well about 4 weeks (up until now) ago the symptoms started, my boobs would tingle a little, not bad,(now my nippels hurt real bad and are always hard, the dont look darker, also my breast used to be firm now they feel kinda i dont know how to explain but maybe a little jello like??? i guess that is how u would explain it) i was moody, cramping and got bad headaches here recently i can hardly keep my eyes open past 2 in the afternoon, i cant sleep good at night witch is not unusual, i have never been good at sleeping at night. about 2 weeks ago i started getting so sick to my stomach, i thought i was getting a cold, my face was puffy, my head hurt, i took medicine and it eventually went away, but the sick to my stomach didn’t go away, i would wake up in the morning and be sick like i was going to throw up, my brother had been staying over and he woke up not long after i did and came in to the living room, he lit a cigarette and i almost puked from the smell, (i smoke also so it never bothered me before) well cretin foods i loved to eat i couldn’t eat any more, since my husband went out of town i bought food that would be fast and easy to cook. i couldn’t eat a corn dog, and those are my favorite….chicken made me Nassau, pizza, cheese, tea and i love sweat tea, even the smell of some of these foods made me so sick….also i have been moody, i got mad at my brother over something so stupid i broke a plate…and then yelled at my husband for calling me. also i have been crying over movies i have watched a million times and never had cried before, i cried like a little baby when in one movie a girl caught a kitchen on fire by accident!!!!!!! well like i have said i have been trying for a little over 2 years (i am also 22 years old close to 23) i have had symptoms of pregnancy in the past but no luck, i have also had symptoms of miscarriages in the past but never knew…….well last week i took a pregnancy test, it said negative…..later when i read the instructions it said to pee on the stick for 5 seconds, i didn’t i peed on it for 25 seconds, (i thought that was how long it was it used to be but it changed) and i took it a night. so i am wondering am i pregnant, i wont be able to go till this weekend to get a home pregnancy test. i know i have wrote alot but i am really wanting to start a family, it kills me every time i get a negative…also, i haven’t taken any pre natal vitamins, since i don’t know if i am preggers or not, but cut my hair 2 weeks ago and it has already grown out an inch…it usually takes my hair over a month to even grow that long, and my nails are long as all get out, i always bite my nails cause there week and i hate it when thwy chip, now they are longer then they have ever been and stronger and prettier….i just cut them about a week ago…..so what do u think?
A: It really sounds like you are having a lot of pregnancy symptoms. Can you call your doctor for a urine or blood test? Then you could know before the weekend. GOod luck to you and lots of baby dust!
Has anyone ever has a low hcg level on a blood test and still been pregnant?
Q: As of today, I *THINK* I am 31 days late, if what happened on January 30th was really considered a period or decidual bleeding… It only lasted 3 days and that is NOT NORMAL for me… But I need someone’s opinion because the doctors in this town think that I am crazy! In December, I found out that I was pregnant, only to miscarry a week later. I was 4 weeks and 2 days. That was confirmed. I later had sex on December 17th and Christmas, and bled on January 8th for 1 day, which I thought was kind of strange. I had sex on the 15th of January and during sex on the morning of January 30th, I started bleeding. That only lasted for 3 days though… All through the month of January I was having pregnancy symptoms but brushed them off to the previous miscarriage though. On February 3rd, I developed what I thought were hives so I went to the doctor. He said it was a rash and gave me antibiotics but had no clue as to what caused them. I told him that I have been having some pregnancy symptoms and was concerned since I only had what I thought was AF, for 3 days. He did a blood test, as well as some other tests and sent me for an ultrasound… All which came back normal…Well as of today, I am 30 days late and have been having horrible migraine headaches, dizzy spells, sporadic hot and cold flashes, food cravings, repelling of all things tomato, several dates a day with the bathroom, utter exhaustion, sensitive breasts, (They look bigger too), nausea, and I can’t even keep my vitamin down in the morning. The last week or so I also have felt what feels like fluttering in my stomach and I can smell WELL, for the first time in years! I have not been able to smell *WELL* since I had my tonsils and adenoids removed, even with my previous pregnancies. Overall I just feel pregnant… (I have had 2 other children, so its not like it’s my first rodeo)…Well today, I woke up with the worlds most horrible migraine and cramping and nothing, not even a heating pad was making it feel better, so I went to the Emergency Room. I told them that there is a possibility that I may be pregnant, having gotten 2 negative tests and 2 positive… I told them that if they could find out for sure if I were pregnant, it would explain the migraines, for those were the most prominent symptoms in my last pregnancy (in which I was put on bed rest at 3 months for high blood pressure). They drew blood and also made me do a urine test only to get a low hcg count and a negative pregnancy test. They wanted to prescribe me some medication and I told them not until I get an ultrasound to prove that I was not indeed, pregnant. They said, “In our medical opinion, you’re not pregnant! There is no way you can be pregnant with a low hcg count. With the test results we got back, we can’t justify giving you an ultrasound because your insurance won’t pay for it.” By this point I was FUMING MAD!!!I explained how in my last pregnancy, I had gotten negative pregnancy tests as well as blood tests and loe and behold, I was still pregnant, (Gary is 3 now), and I also explained to them some of my friends that I know who didn’t find out they were pregnant until 5 and 8 months, due to low hcg count and negative test results, and she said she doesn’t know of “anybody who can sustain a pregnancy with low hcg levels.” So I asked her why I have been having these symptoms and why AF is 30 days past due, and she chalked it up to, “having ALLERGIES and an irregular cycle!” Can you believe that!?!?! The incompetence of some people makes me crazy, but I also live in a little hick town now, where as my last pregnancy, I lived in the big city. She gave me migraine medicine and sent me home…The only problem is I still feel fluttering, my migraine is still here, I am still dizzy and sick to my stomach. 🙁 Oh, and I was on the pill when I found out I was pregnant in December and stopped taking it after I found out, and after I miscarried I continued to take my pill as advised by my doctors. I only stopped taking it after being 2 weeks late because I didn’t want to hurt the baby if I found out that I was indeed pregnant, but now I just am completely losing my mind, because my home pregnancy tests that I took were both positive and negative and my hcg count as of yesterday was down to 2. A nurse I spoke to today said that I may have a “missed miscarriage”, but I researched that and my symptoms have not subsided. I am going to an OB on Thursday… I hope that he will give me an ultrasound to find out for sure what is going on with me, but has this ever happened to anybody else before???
A: I’m not sure if this will help, but I had a missed miscarriage about 4 years ago. I continued to grow and have all the symptoms, the only way I found out was when I was at the doctors office at 11.5 weeks and the ultrasound showed no heartbeat and after measuring it, I had miscarried at 9 weeks. I really hope that this is not the case with you. Good luck on your appointment.
