Q: I’ve heard this before. A while back it was real popular to color code ones self with a certain season. That color code would tell you what colors you could probally pull off. My mom said she was a Summer. Could someone explain what each seasons color represents?

Perhaps that will help you understand how it works. Basically, some people like your Mom reflect blue or blue-violet light rays (cools). Other people reflect yellow, orange and amber light rays (warms) If you are in an incorrect color, people look at the color and not see you. It may also cast unflattering shadows against neck & face. Thinking of changing the hair color for the new season?

Q: I’ve had my hair dyed to a pretty chestnut brown(medium golden tone) and am getting extremely tired of it 😛 So now I’m thinking about changing my hair color but not sure whether I should go lighter or darker…I made two options for myself based on my skin tone – medium with pinkish undertone, and there are :1- go all the way to jet black (might adding blonde or copper highlights later on if I get bored of the black).2- keep the chestnut brown but adding black lowlights to the bottom portion of my hair (think of what Xtina did a while ago with her blonde hair and black lowlights).So what do you people think I should do with my hair?Thanks 🙂

A: I have a golden brown hair color as well. It is getting sooo boring. For winter though dark hair looks better than light hair. So dye it back to black/brown whatever your natural color is. Im going too!!
