QUARTERBACK

14. Tim Tebow – Den = @KC 55% —– After his terrible week 8 performance against a tough Detroit Lions defense, the fantasy football world turned their backs on Tebow. And as you would guess, he came back with a vengeance in week 9 to show up all the doubters. With a running game that can allow Tebow to consistently rack up between 50-100 rushing yards per game, the fantasy points are fairly reliable from Tebow, with the upside always very good as well. This week’s matchup against a so-so Kansas City Chiefs defense, could have Tebow tallying numbers in the range of 50-100 rushing yards, 150 passing yards, and 2 total touchdowns.

18. Mark Sanchez – NYJ = NE 63% —– The Patriots secondary has been picked apart in nearly every game so far this season, and Sanchez will be given his opportunity this week. With a healthy and revitalized Plaxico Burress in the lineup, Sanchez has a nice realm of receiving options at his disposal in this game. 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdown passes is well within reach.

19. Matt Cassel – KC = Den 46% —– After all the hype for the Kansas City Chiefs offense entering last weeks game against the Miami Dolphins, the Chiefs passing attack was nearly invisible. However even after last weeks stinker of an offensive output for Cassel, a matchup this week against the Denver Broncos still offers plenty of potential for the Chiefs passing attack. 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdown is definitely within reach for Cassel this week.

20. Matt Hasselbeck – Ten = @Car 56% —– Even with very little receiving weapons at his disposal in Tennessee right now, Hasselbeck still manages to be a solid QB, as he racked up a very respectable 272 passing yards and 2 touchdowns against a solid Cincinnati Bengals defense last week. This weeks matchup against a much weaker Carolina Panthers defense could have Hasselbeck easily replicating those week 9 passing stats again in week 10.

21. Carson Palmer – Oak = @SD 29% —– Palmer was not exactly great in last weeks game, but he certainly showed that he still has the ability to sling the pigskin around. After tallying 332 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, unfortunately 3 interceptions were also in the mix, Palmer should be a solid QB2 start on fantasy teams this week.

22. Sam Bradford – StL = @Cle 29% —– Bradford finally was able to take the field and start last weeks game, but there was obviously a good amount of rust in his performance. Luckily though, a matchup against the Cleveland Browns this week could have Bradford finally eyeing a solid stat game in week 10. 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdown passes is possible.

23. Christian Ponder – Min = @GB 16% —– Three weeks ago the Vikings faced the Packers and Ponder got his first NFL start. He put up solid stats then, and assuming the Vikings are playing catch-up in this game, Ponder should be putting the ball in the air plenty to give him the potential to rack up stats once again.

24. Colt McCoy – Cle = StL 35% —– The matchup is in McCoy’s favor to do something.

25. Matt Moore – Mia = Was 4% —– Moore’s breakout performance of 3 touchdown passes last week was definitely not expected, and while you cannot expect another performance like that again this week, Moore is definitely not the worst starting QB option for fantasy football lineups this week.

28. Blaine Gabbert – Jac = @Ind 4% —– In deep leagues, Gabbert is probably the best gamble start this week who is under 10% owned in 10 team leagues. A weak Colts defense could allow Gabbert to rack up 200 passing yards with 1 touchdown this week.

.

RUNNING BACK

20. Jackie Battle – KC = Den 67% —– Yes Battle he has not put up the huge numbers that he did in his breakout game a couple of weeks ago, but there is no denying the fact that Battle is the main feature back now in Kansas City. A matchup against a weak Denver Broncos run defense this week could easily have Battle racking up stats in the range of 75-100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. Still available in over 30% of 10 team leagues, Battle is one starting RB that fantasy teams should not be sleeping on anymore.

22. Roy Helu – Was = @Mia 30% —– After weeks of premature Helu hype, the real Helu has finally emerged after his 146 total yard performance in week 9. With Mike Shanahan officially naming Helu the starting RB, there is no reason to believe that Helu will not keep the starting job for the remainder of the season. Offering excellent receiving ability, Helu should easily see at least 20 touches per game from now on, and anything in the range of 100-150 total yards is likely this week as well. Touchdown potential is also in the mix.

36. Ben Tate – Hou = @TB 57% —– The ideal efficiency RB right now in the NFL, Tate had just 12 rushing attempts in last weeks game, but he still managed to tally 115 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. It makes sense for the Texans to continue giving Tate around 10 carries per game to keep Arian Foster fresh, and with a matchup against the Buccanneers in store for this week, Tate could be looking at numbers in the range of 50-75 rushing yards with a touchdown possible as well. At just 57% owned, Tate is a solid flex starting option this week.

38. Chris Ogbonnaya – Cle = StL 28% —– Ogbonnaya stunk up the place last week in his first start at RB for the Browns, but a matchup against the lowly St. Louis Rams run defense this week is awfully eye appealing. With Montario Hardesty still out with a calf injury, and Peyton Hillis iffy as always, there is a great possibility that Ogbonnaya will once again get the start at RB for the Browns in this game. With fantasy football teams likely down on Ogbonnaya after his forgettable performance last week, this is one time that you will want to ride him out and start him again.

46. Javon Ringer – Ten = @Car 34% —– Chris Johnson finally showed up in last weeks game, and as you would expect, Ringer disappeared in the offense as his touches were limited. A matchup this week against the Panthers offers potential to whoever gets the touches in the Titans offense this week.

47. Donald Brown – Ind = Jac 6% —– I think it may be safe to say that Brown is slowly gaining some confidence, and the Colts coaching staff may be thinking the same thing in determining how many touches he gets. A matchup against a so-so Jaguars defense, along with the lingering Joseph Addai injury and fumble issue with Delone Carter, Brown may just be the Colts best RB option for fantasy football teams this week.

52. LaDainian Tomlinson – NYJ = NE 53% —– The Jets continue to show that they are serious about running the ball, and Tomlinson will continue to his handful of touches both rushing and receiving to make him worth a starting flex gamble in deep fantasy leagues this week.

58. Chris Ivory – NO = @Atl 1% —– So much for easing Ivory into the action, as the Saints fed Ivory the ball 15 times in last weeks game while he racked up a solid 67 rushing yards. With Mark Ingram still dealing with injury, Darren Sproles just a change of pace guy, and Pierre Thomas just hanging around, the surplus of options in the Saints backfield suddenly looks like Ivory’s primary job for the time being.

.

WIDE RECEIVER

30. Mike Thomas – Jac = @Ind 44% —– Thomas has been a huge disappointment for fantasy football teams so far this season, but I guess that should have been expected with rookie Blaine Gabbert throwing the ball. However this weeks matchup against a poor Colts defense could lead to a solid game for Thomas if fantasy teams are looking for a gamble play.

31. Malcom Floyd – SD = Oak 52% —– A hip injury forced Floyd to miss last weeks game, but with Philip Rivers showing signs of breaking out of his funk, this is a good matchup for Floyd and the Chargers passing attack if Floyd is indeed healthy enough to play in this game.

35. Steve Breaston – KC = Den 35% —– With more popular Chiefs names like Dwayne Bowe and Jonathan Baldwin getting all the attention from fantasy football teams, Breaston has quietly proven to be a very reliable and steady receiving option in the Chiefs offense. A matchup against the Denver Broncos this week, where Bowe will likely be covered by Champ Bailey, Breaston could easily lead the Chiefs in receiving yards again this week. If you are choosing between Jonathan Baldwin and Steve Breaston for your lineup this week, I would go with Breaston.

41. Antonio Brown – Pit = @Cin 68% —– While defenses focus on covering Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown has taken full advantage of his playing time and opportunities and is looking like Ben Roethlisberger’s favorite target right now. After tallying 5 receptions for 109 receiving yards against a tough Baltimore Ravens defense last week, a matchup against the Bengals this week could definitely have Brown notching another 100 receiving yards this week as well.

43. Laurent Robinson – Dal = Buf 11% —– The primary beneficiary of Miles Austin’s hamstring injury, Robinson has developed a quick report with Tony Romo. If Austin cannot play in this weeks game, look for Robinson to get the start opposite of Dez Bryant, and the potential for 100 receiving yards is definitely within reach for Robinson this week.

44. Jonathan Baldwin – KC = Den 37% —– Tons of potential, but he just is not reliable yet. If you are looking for a boom gamble start, Baldwin is your guy at WR this week.

45. Torrey Smith – Bal = @Sea 44% —– With Lee Evans no where to be found in Baltimore because of injury, Smith has developed into one of Joe Flacco’s favorite targets. A matchup against a so-so Seattle secondary this week could have Smith breaking out a long TD.

46. Greg Little – Cle = StL 18% —– Greg has done very little in the stat department over the past couple of weeks, but a matchup against a poor Rams defense this week could easily change his fortunes. Anything in the 50-100 receiving yard range is possible, as well as his first NFL career touchdown.

58. Damian Williams – Ten = @Car 2% —– As long as Matt Hasselbeck is playing well, Damian Williams has potential, even if it is small.

59. James Jones – GB = Min 55% —– With the Packers likely to struggle running the ball against a solid Vikings run defense this week, it makes sense that more 4 or 5 wide receiver sets will be used in this game. Enter James Jones as a solid flex start this week.

60. Greg Salas – StL = @Cle 1% —– Salas was having a solid game last week until he went down with a leg injury. If he is healthy and ready to go for this game, he should continue to be one of Sam Bradford’s favorite targets.

61. Titus Young – Det = @Chi 3% —– Always a threat to break off a long TD reception, especially when the secondary is triple covering Calvin Johnson.

63. Jacoby Ford – Oak = @SD 19% —– Ford was finally healthy and broke out with an excellent game last week as Carson Palmers favorite target. A matchup this week against a so-so Chargers secondary gives the speedy Ford a definite advantage this week as well.

65. Michael Jenkins – Min = @GB 31% —– It’s simple, the Packers secondary cannot stop anyone right now.

70. Jason Hill – Jac = @Ind 5% —– Anytime you play the Colts defense, anyone has the potential to tally stats and score.

.

TIGHT END

14. Brent Celek – Phi = Ari 29% —– Great matchup against a weak Arizona pass defense, but with so many explosive offensive options in the Eagles offense, it’s hard to know just how big of a roll Celek will play in this game.

17. Visanthe Shiancoe – Min = @GB 20% —– One of Christian Ponder’s favorite targets, and the Green Bay Packers are terrible at covering TEs. At just 20% owned in 10 team leagues, Shiancoe offers excellent upside for fantasy teams this week.

18. Jake Ballard – NYG = @SF 33% —– Breaking his way up the TE rankings, Ballard is emerging as a near every week starting TE option in fantasy football leagues.

20. Jared Cook – Ten = @Car 32% —– As usual, it’s all about potential with Cook.

21. Jermaine Gresham – Cin = Pit 38% —– If Gresham is healthy enough this week, he could play a huge roll in the Bengals passing game as a dump off target for Andy Dalton, who will likely be under constant pressure in this game.

22. Benjamin Watson – Cle = StL 20% —– The matchup is especially enticing for this veteran, who also happens to be a solid red zone target.

24. Heath Miller – Pit = @Cin 55% —– Miller continues to be a solid and reliable TE you can rack up a handful of stats. Sometimes fantasy lineups just need a reliable few points from a position instead of a fat 0, Miller offers just that.

37. Dennis Pitta – Bal = @Sea 0% —– After two consecutive weeks of heavy involvement in the Ravens passing attack, Pitta may just have taken over as the #1 tight end option in Baltimore. Currently boasting a 0% ownership, Pitta is an outstanding TE pickup in deep fantasy leagues this week.

.

DEFENSE

7. San Diego Chargers = Oak 41% —– The Chargers defense got run over by the Packers offense last week, but who hasn’t. A matchup this week against the interception prone Carson Palmer, could easily have the Chargers defense racking up some fantasy points. Add in a few sacks, and the Chargers are a solid gamble start for fantasy lineups this week while other typically better defenses have tougher matchups this week.

15. Kansas City Chiefs = Den 56% —– Before last weeks game, the Chiefs defense was considered to be on the rise. Maybe getting back to playing in Kansas City this week will help, and a turnover prone Tim Tebow adds some potential to the mix as well.

19. Washington Redskins = @Mia 24% —– The Miami Dolphins offense busted out last week, but who knows what they will do this week. In terms of potential, the Redskins ability to get pressure on the QB and rack up sacks offers enough fantasy scoring potential to make them a desperation start if needed this week.

22. Miami Dolphins = Was 6% —– It’s very likely that the Dolphins defense was just lucky last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, but a matchup against a Redskins offense with virtually zero QB play could make the Dolphins defense worth a cheap gamble in deep deep fantasy leagues this week.
