I’ve been writing for Yahoo Contributor Network about a month now and so far it’s been going pretty good. I wanted to list some things I like about Yahoo Contributor Network, so here are three things I found appealing about YCN.
Performance Payments: I really like the rates on the performance payments every thousand views you earn $1.50. They have a unique ranking system where you earn badges for a certain number of views and the maximum amount you can earn is $2.00 for every thousand views. You will continue to earn money as long as you’re getting views. I like the idea of earning money for my work long after it’s been published YCN gets plus points for this one.
Help Forum: Speedy answers to questions in the forum is one of their stronger points. The majority of the questions get answered which translates into a more rewarding experience. The staff at YCN really stays on top of things keeping all of its users updated with any major changes. You don’t have to wait long to get answers at the longest maybe 1-2 days and at the least a couple of hours. If you don’t believe me go to the forum ask a question and see how long it takes to get a reply.
Freedom: YCN provides their writers with the freedom to publish content without editors watching over their every move. Your voice can be heard even if the editor doesn’t agree with you YCN lets you publish it anyway. Other content sites won’t allow their writers freedom of speech everything is heavily edited, but not here. This is a really nice feature to have and I look forward to putting it to good use.
