E-mail me if you want a solution for both conditions. Too lengthy to type details here. A castor oil pack should help. A friend of mine got shingles last year and was using the cream the doctor gave him, but the outbreak was not clearing up. I told him to use castor oil and he tried it. He said it cleared up very quickly and he had no scarring. This is what he did. He bought quality castor oil from a health food store. They also sell natural wool cloth for making a pack, but he might have used a cotton rag. He soaked it with castor oil and placed it on the affected area. Then he put saran wrap over it, to keep it from getting too messy. Covered that with a towel and applied heat in the form of a heating pad or hot water bottle. He did this 2-3 times a day, for 20-30 minutes each time.Take care.
he has “PHN” now heres a link no, but i highly recommend L Lysine pills, available at all health food stores. Taking 3, 3xday can really help!
my grandmother has shingles. she alternates the application (to the affected area) of pure vitamin E oil and lemon juice. And she takes vitamin B-6 pills. she says it helps with the pain. It should help the nerve pain just make sure it is at least medical grade however, there are some other products that use Tea Tree in combination with other topicals that can work better.
