- When is the best time to use a home pregnancy test?
- Q: When is the best time to use a home pregnancy test?My period is very regular, but I can’t remember if I had it before we went on vacation (August 19th) or as soon as we got back (August 27th), and I know I haven’t had one in September for sure. I’ve taken 2 tests, but they’ve both been negative, but still no sign of my period, though I have most of the symtoms. Is it to early to tell yet? Thanks to all who reply respectfully ahead of time =)
- A: If you didn’t have your period until after you got back (Aug 27), it may have been a little early for a pregancy test before now. I would think that any time now, (usually you can test on your first missed day and have fairly accurate results), would provide more reliable results. I have tried the “test 4 days early” tests and I still found that the closer you test to the first day of your missed period the more accurate the results. They say morning pee has more concentrated doses of the pregnancy hormone, but I was never able to wait!!!
