It is really hard to tell 3 days before ovulation unless you know your her luteal phase, or if she has been tracking her period. So here is what I would suggest–I like the site mymonthlycycles.com. If you girlfriend/wife knows the first day that she started her period she can plug those in and the site will give her the 5 days that she is fertile. sperm is good in the body for 3 days and so there is really 5 fertile days. You are fertile 3 days before she ovulates. Or you can use any ovulation predictor that uses urine BUT it will only predict ovulation 12 hours before it happens. So tracking ovulation is not a good way to keep from getting pregnant. If you are trying to get pregnant i would suggest the Answer ovulation kits.
