If I were you I would do some research on this question but as my knowledge as a RN I bellieve that sperm only lives up to 4 days inside the vagina. The vagina is very acidic and is so the sperm does not survive very long.

A: I was 14 weeks when I found out I was pregnant after many negative tests. I started birth control pills and everything thinking it would regulate my messed up cycles…it never did. After a month of feeling worse while on the pills (from my doctor’s nurse since he was out of town) and no withdrawal bleed, I stopped he bc pills, took a test (negative)and made a doctor appointment. He looked at me and told me I was pregnant, I disagreed since I had so many negative tests. He proved me wrong by walking over to his counter and getting his doppler and as soon as it hit my belly the heartbeat was strong and loud! I was so shocked. I thought I was having some sort of hormone imbalance since I was having messed up cycles since Feb. 2008, and here it was the end of Sept. and I was pregnant! A week later we did an ultrasound to date it and found out I was exactly 14 weeks. After the ultrasound I went out and bought a 2 pack pregnancy test. I took it the next morning to see if it would turn poositive and it didn’t, then I took the other a few days later and it finally was positive.So I was 3 1/2 months pregnant and didn’t know, I thought my pregnancy symptoms were just part of my messed up cycles and starting and stopping my birth control because I had been feeling this way since Feb. According to my ultrasound, I concieved in August and now looking back in Sept, there was an increase in the symptoms I was feeling but like I said I thought it was from the bc pills…Now I am 39 weeks and being induced on May 4th (due to my deliveries being too fast and we want to try to have me at the hospital before labor starts!)
