A: These are the FACTS:1) Your fertile window consists of 3 days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and the day after. That’s it. Sex any other time will NOT result in pregnancy.2) The day right before and the day of ovulation are considered your PEAK fertile days.3) The egg lives for 12-24 hours after its released. That’s it. 4) Most sperm dies within minutes of ejaculation. The rest die within hours. If there is fertile cervical fluid present sperm can live 2 or 3 days, but ONLY if there’s fertile cervical fluid present.5) Please don’t believe it if people tell you the egg lives for days once released or that sperm can live for week inside you. It just doesn’t happen.If you had sex 5 days before ovulation your chances are slim to none of conceiving.If you ovulated today, you should have sex today for sure, have sex tomorrow too…but depending on your egg tomorrow may or may not be too late.Next time, use better timing. Having sex each day of your fertile window will maximize your chances.Good luck.
