Can you still get pregnant on your period
It’s possible – but highly unlikely. You’d have to have a very short menstrual cycle, or a tendency to have long periods. ChaCha! [ Source: http://www.chacha.com/question/can-you-still-get-pregnant-on-your-period ]

- A: Very unlikely. Here’s why. Your cycle is counted by cycle days. The day your period starts is cycle day #1. When your period ends you are probably on cycle day #6 (or 7). A condom physically stops sperm from entering your vagina. It is pretty effective. Even if it failed (which if you knew it failed would be a good reason to get Plan B), you wouldn’t have a super high chance of getting pregnant because it isn’t near your ovulation (usually on or about cycle day #14). Even safer than when your period ends would be a few days before it’s due again. If you ovulate on or around cycle day #14, by cycle day #16 or #17 the egg is gone. On cycle day #25 you are just days from your period and much less likely to get pregnant from a birth control failure. Plus you only have a few days to wait until your period shows up so you will be less likely to be stressed. The effectiveness information included in the condoms is for a condom being the only birth control method at any and all points in the cycle over an entire year of using only condoms. So – very low right after your period, approaching low during the middle of your cycle and returning to very low towards your next period.good luck!
