When U turn on some hormons get free and those may influance the period but not on that moment when U r in the mood!I have noticed that too! If I have intercourse while on my period, it sometimes stops it. I’m not sure why.

It’s because during your period you are actually shedding a layer of your uterus which causes minor bleeding. When you have intercourse and especially when you orgasm your uterus and vagina contract causing the blood vessels to became blocked as well as the uterine layers to be blocked from proceding out of the vagina due to the narrowing.
