im having a lletz o tuesday under ga,im reeally scared,what will happen and whats it like afterwards ill i bleed alot and will it hurt alot

check out this page, it’s very helpful.http://www.uihealthcare.com/depts/med/ob. ok sweetie dont worry I had this done in August under ga.You will be asleep for about half and hour to three quarters of an hour and hopefully like me you will wake up feeling a great sense of relief infact I was quite giddy that it was over because I too was dreading it.I bleed for a couple of weeks and only had cramping on the evening a bit like period pains but with painkillers or hot water bottle it will ease it and the next day had no pain. They should have explained the procedure to you at your preassessment but you will basically undergo the procedure like a smear and using a loop they scrape away those bad cells.LLetz stands for large loop extraction of the transformation zone. Dont use tampons after the op only use pads and no bath additives for a week or so. This sounds a bit gross but you will also feel a bit gungy down below because they use a antibiotic cream where they have taken away the cells.I’ve had CIN 2 and CIN3 I could’nt tolerate the procedure under local thats why I had ga but it’s like nodding of to sleep really.All the very best to you I hope all goes well, good luck you’ll wonder what you were worrying about when it’s all over.Love JLB
