My exercise routine is great but what i eat is killing my weight loss goals. I’ve lost 10 of my 50 pounds since October. My ultimate goal is to lose 40 more pounds by May. Has anyone tried NutriSystem or knows some one who has? Any info would be appreciated!

I have several friends who have tried it and it has helped them control their weight. Not all lost weight, but none gained and that was good. One guy lost 12 pounds while I girl I know admitted to losing 19 points. So it does help. But you still need to remember not to eat heavy calorie snacks — you have to be good— and you should exercise. Most say the portions are okay and the food decent. Not as good as the fattening foods we like but still good. It worked for them.
my mother tried nutrisystem and it works wonders! my mother has tried like, basically every single diet that is out there and found that nutrisystem worked for her. i’ve seen the food and it looks, alright. the foods are portion sized, which is nice since you don’t have to worry about HOW much your eating, because it’s already measured for you. you don’t have to refrigerate ANY of the food or freeze it. you can easily store it in your pantry or in some shelves. my mother ordered nutrisystem towards the beginning of the year and all of the food stayed in the box. and she’s doing the program now and the food is STILL good. but you do have to add some of your own food like fruits and vegetables and dairy. my mother is doing nutrisystem right now actually and she LOVES it. this is about her 3rd or 4th time ordering nutri-system, but she does this because she usually ends up gaining all of her weight back. my mother isn’t really consistant with mainting her weight once she’s lost it. but every person is different and i have NO doubt that you will lose those other 40 pounds with nutrisystem. you WILL lose the weight. congrats on losing those 10 pounds! keep up the good work! take care.
I am pretty sure they are still using freeze dried and ready to eat meals which means ICK. If portion control is a problem and you don’t mind spending more money on food to deal with that, than browse the frozen dinner section of your supermarket. Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, Kashi, Weight Watchers, etc,. all have tasty portion controlled, convenient meal solutions. Add a salad and extra veggies and you may even feel full ; ) Pay attention to the portion sizes while you are eating these things and in no time, you will be able to know what a “normal” portion is and your eating habits will be easier to change.
