birth controll pills can make your periods irregular untill you get used to your new estrogen levels..if the condom did not break i wouldnt worry about it.But if you think you could be pregnant you need to talk to your doctor before taking the pills.it could kill the pregnancy and if it doesnt cause a misscarriage it can cause serious birth deffects. This is a little hard to decipher but here goes.you were protected. slight chance then.spotting on the 7th? 7th day? could be break through bleeding or implantation bleeding.Stop the pill, stop the sex and wait. If you don’t have a period and maybe even if you do try a pregnancy test.
If you are new to taking the pill, it takes at least 2-3 months for your body to get used to the hormones, so you might have some irregularites including spotting during this time, so this is normal. The effectiveness of the pill depends on if you don’t miss one, and if you take it on time. It could be anywhere from 95%-98% effective. get a pregnancy test
