3 Good Things About this Film

Tom Hardy, Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine make an exciting film premise about spies dating the same lady into a decent viewing despite the bland script.

Chelsea Handler made me laugh. A lot. That made the film bearable like strawberries on a really dry, nasty cake.

A few situational scenes had me laugh out loud. I think there were three, overall.

6 Bad Things About this Film

The writing was boring.

The length. If I have to explain, one more time, how an hour and a half is a cut off time for a comedy, I might explode into a thousand little me’s and destroy everyone.

Not enough funny moments that were uncliched.

The fact that she got mad over them knowing each other, but it was okay for her to date two guys was annoying. Come on, seriously?

Double standard.

Every phrasing for this film unsubtly avoids VS. As if SPY VS SPY is copyrighted. Oh, wait…

This Means War
was a decent film to watch. Nothing I’d urge anyone to rush out and see.
