So I decided to talk with several single family households in the area to see what works for them, and I was surprised at what I found. Many in my area look to once a month cooking to save them time and money. I have heard of once a month cooking in the past, but I really did not know that it was this popular. So with that information I decided to put together a list of the benefits that come along with once a month cooking for single moms.

The first benefit that I heard mentioned was the fact that it saves from having food wasted. When you are in a rush it is easy to forget what is left over in the fridge. One of the biggest things that single moms don’t seem to have enough of is time. There never seems to be enough time in one day to get it all day. Cooking your meals once a month will certainly save you time. The meal will already be divided up, and all you will have to do is toss it in the oven or pan. Usually by the time you are finished going over a few homework papers, and getting comfortable your dinner is ready. This best part is that you are able to multitask, and at the end of the day you will still has plenty of time for yourself.
