Spring Colors for 2012- What’s it Gonna Be for You?

Ladies – spring color trends for 2012 have been released and, according to experts such as Pantone, the must-have colors are really bold. I love playing around with colors, so I’m in love with most of the newest colors for Spring 2012. But not all of them will suit my Indian coloring. Have a look and decide which colors will look hot on you.

The top colors for Spring 2012 include:

• Orangeade
• Poppy
• Canary
• Ink
• Grass
• Honey
• Hyacinth
• Tiffany Blue
• Geranium
• Sandstone

Orangeade: I really love this rich, tart-like, ripe and orangey hue. It looks good on my winter coloring – makes me sparkle! However, you may need to tone down its effect if you have a pale complexion. But you can wear this color as an accent to perk up your outfits. Try wearing a scarf in this color over a black silk shirt and blue denim pants combo. You can also experiment by trying out earrings in this hue, or a nice hobo bag to go with your outfit.

Poppy and Geranium would be a better choice for you if you prefer something less bright yet vibrant – one that is not too muted or too sharp either.

Canary on the other hand is very 70s if you ask me. This shade will give you a nice pop if you have red or black hair. A word of caution – it may quickly be outdated the very next season, so it’s best to go for bangles or other cheap accessories in this shade of animated yellow.

Hyacinth, Tiffany Blue and Ink are all marvelous shades. I think everyone can carry these hues with ease. In fact, personally, I love all of the newest spring colors, except may be Honey, Sandstone and some shades of Grass. These hues do nothing for my slightly tanned coloring. But you may love these neutral shades.

So what is your favorite color from Spring 2012?
