Looks don’t matter when it comes to making my baby healthy as quickly as possible.
Usage: Just fill the blue container with water, set it on the base, and turn it on. Pretty simple really! The mist settings can be changed from a very thick mist, to a barely there mist. We usually turn it JUST over the barely there setting. This makes just enough mist that we can see it but not enough to overdo it. This tiny bit of added moisture in the air helps my baby breathe through the night and helps her stay asleep when she is sick.
Cleaning: Some users complain about cleaning but I honestly don’t have a problem. After each night, I rinse it well with water and let it dry during the day. I also use a scrub brush and vinegar to clean it after a few uses, as per the instructions. We didn’t want to use bleach to clean it, since we didn’t want my daughter breathing that in. I have yet to see any sort of build up or deposits anywhere in the humidifier. It seems just as clean and clear as the day we bought it.
