Alpha and Omega,
Yesterday, today, tomorrow,
Before the beginning and after the end;
Christ today,
Perfect life for imperfect people,
Sinless death for sinful people,
Confession, Forgiveness, Absolution;
Christ today,
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to new life
Giving the same gift to us;
Christ today,
From the top of the mountain,
To the right hand of the Father,
Praying for you and me;
Christ today,
Word and Sacrament,
Water, Wine, Bread, and Word,
Parchment, Promise, Presence;
Christ today,
Prayerfully waiting,
Patiently expecting,
For the Father to say,
