You won’t believe the plans I made
they started out early in the day
by the time I got to number one
the sun was setting and I haven’t begun.
Why do I get so sidetracked each day
I try so hard to keep it my way
but things pop up you don’t forsee
and I guess I’m slower than I used to be.
It doesn’t bother me as it used to
if it gets done today, well thats new
cause I never seem to be on time
I don’t think it matter to the friends of mine.
