My love of horror started very young.
At four or five, the monsters gained a fan.
From ghosts to goblins, it was all great fun,
While other children often screamed and ran.
It all began with classic horror flicks
Like Dracula and good old Frankenstein.
I then moved on to much more recent picks.
The Shining is a favorite one of mine.
On every Halloween, I’d yell ‘Hooray,’
And decorate the house with webs and bats.
I’d wear my scary costume out all day
And run off to find candy and black cats.
Today, my love of horror is so great
I’ve chosen Freddy Krueger as my mate.
