There have been many celebrity trips down the aisle the past couple of years and usually after marriage, starting a family is not far behind. However, there are a few top celebrity couples that have said they are not rushing out to buy a crib anytime soon. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, who have just recently tied the knot, are one of those couples. Miranda sat down with the ladies from “The Talk” recently and explained why she and Blake are holding off on this life changing decision. She said that they are still learning to work together as a couple. Mrs. Shelton does however get babyitis once in a while but it doesn’t last too long. She says, “Every time I’m like, ‘Aww, kids are so cute.’ Then a friend of mine will come over with their kids running absolutely everywhere, crazy. I’m like, ‘Maybe we should wait a while.” While they are waiting to have a family, this famous country couple have their eight pooches to keep them busy. At least there are no smelly diapers to change. Here are some other celebrity couples that have made that same important decision. But who knows, things happen when you least expect it.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green
This high profile couple married in 2010 and even though Brian has a 9 yr. old child with General Hospital actress, Vanessa Marcil, he wants to eventually have a family with Megan. The main reason the couple made a choice to hold off is money. It sounds like a strange reason coming from a couple who makes a healthy living but Megan says that they want to make sure they have enough money in the bank for their kids to be financially stable their whole life. It makes you wonder how much money is enough to live on in the world of celebrities.
Katy Perry and Russell Brand
Katy Perry and her comedian husband are in no hurry to start a family but they are looking forward to having children together in the future…the very far future as Katy put it. Can you just imagine Russell walking the floor in the middle of the night with a crying baby?
Kevin and Danielle Jonas
Although the Jonas family would love to have another ‘bonus Jonas’ as in grandbaby, Kevin and Danielle have said that they are waiting for a while. They just had their second wedding anniversary so they have to be thinking along those terms however recent talk of new music from the Jobros, maybe a tour isn’t far behind. Touring may not mix with a family just yet for these two. Fans know that any Jonas Brother would make an awesome daddy but are they really ready for this next big step in the Jonas world?

Country cutie, Kellie Pickler and her songwriter hubby, Kyle Jacobs are in no rush to have babies anytime soon. She knows how tough it is to raise kids so they are taking their time just enjoying their first year of marriage. The decision to have a family is big in the music business, especially being on tour or promoting a new album. This country bumpkin is only 25 years old and has a career that is taking off however, she would make a great mom. Maybe Kellie and her “American Idol” buddy, Carrie Underwood might get pregnant at the same time.
