Matthew Fox Hit with $25K Lawsuit for Allegedly Assaulting Party Bus Driver in Cleveland, Ohio

In the aftermath of his altercation with an Ohio bus driver, Matthew Fox may have to cough up a cool $25,000.

The “Party of Five” actor is being sued for punching Heather Bormann in her private parts during an incident that occurred on August 28th.

Upon filing legal paperwork, the plaintiff told press that Fox was inebriated when he attempted to board her party bus, of which he was not a guest.

The “Lost” actor was apparently looking for a way to get back to his downtown hotel when he was refused entry.

Bormann explained, “He smelled like a liquor cabinet, like a bar. I told him, ‘Sorry, buddy, this is a private party. You get off my vehicle.’ I told him three times.”

It was at this time that Fox reportedly got physical, striking Heather in the “crotch and breast,” according to TMZ.

“(Fox) leaned in and started punching my crotch and breast. I took one hand to his jaw and he was spitting blood. He stumbled backwards. This was my self-defense. This was the only way I could protect myself… from a man beating up on a woman.”

During her interview with TMZ, Heather Bormann said she was forced to hit the actor, as she needed to defend herself, “He just kept staring at me with his mouth wide open and not saying anything. I told him, ‘You have to leave buddy. You are trespassing on my bus.’”

According to the police report obtained by AccessHollywood.com, the suspect, identified as Fox at the time, reportedly refused medical treatment and was released to a friend following the incident. He was detained by authorities but not charged or arrested.

Ms. Bormann claims assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress at the hands of Fox, who was in Cleveland filming “I, Alex Cross.”
