Lord, I’m thankful for your precious light clearing my vision,
allowing me to walk without a fall or a stumble in darkest hours.
I rely on your guidance to supply me confidence and strength
as hardships and pains surface inside to stir turmoil’s within.
I know Lord; you suffered from temptations and strife too;
rebuked the evil suffered like we do when we’re tried and tempted.
Lord, strengthen me to follow your word and to live accordingly,
grant me goals I’ve attained from your word.
Help me to touch other lives as I know how much you’ve loved me,
teach me to express my love to others like you have for me.
Grant me the urge to help others who are not as fortunate as I am,
permit them to see its real; it lives in me because of you.
Lord, I’m often weak and weary too, hesitate to follow my heart,
pause to push forward, instead regress to cave into temptations.
I need vigor to fight my urges to disobey your word,
keep me strong, willing to turn away from evil coaxing’s.
Grant me acknowledgments to realize you’re my existence
for the mercy and grace required to live a humble daily life.
