Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries isn’t even cold yet and rumorville is heating up about who Kim’s loving next. Kim, as we know, is moving on from her 72-day marriage to Kris. For his part, the Hump is moving on too, right back to the NBA and the New Jersey Nets. We guess that he’s no longer a free agent in more ways than one. Kim has done the obligatory moping in photos combined with her recent charity work in Haiti and now she’s single and ready to mingle.
Kim has loved and lost many times as did her idol Elizabeth Taylor. However, as a love and lifestyle maven, my unsolicited advice is that girlie needs to be single for a while. This is a good time for soul searching, not man searching. At any rate, tongues are wagging out who will be the reality starlet’s next real life co-star.
Fans of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” know that KK is buds with prolific music producer and rapper Kanye West. He made an appearance as Kim recorded her “Jam” single with The Dream. Sure, the KW emcee may be lacking a little humility but what he lacks in modesty he makes up for in conceit. Does this make a good boyfriend for our Kimmie, though?
At the other end of the exact same spectrum there is the recently single basketball star Kobe Bryant. With Lamar Odom’s move to the Dallas Mavericks, the Los Angeles Lakers are missing a little Kardashian energy in their lives. Kobe is parting ways with his former wife Vanessa Bryant.
Contestant number three in the Dash-girl bonanza is Kim’s ex, Reggie Bush. Before there was Kim’s Fairytale Wedding” there was Reggie. Homeboy was so obsessed that after they broke up he even made a point of dating his very own curvaceous Kim-a-like.
So which man could be the next K-man? Let’s see how the contenders weigh in:
Reality TV-Friendly
Reality television fans like a mix of likability and scandal. Judging from some of her exes, like Ray J., so does Kim. Reggie would lose here on the scandal card. As far as athletes go, the man appears to be quiet and humble.
If it’s ego that makes Kim’s heart go pitter patter, then she can’t lose as far as Kobe and Kanye go. Neither appears to have ever met a camera they didn’t like plus they have that big spender appeal that a Kardashian might go for.
The Ex Factor
The minute that Kim announced her pending divorce tongues were wagging about Reggie. After all, the couple even had their own cute nickname together: The Bush and The Tush. With Kris Humphries, the most people could come up with was the unfortunate moniker, The Hump and The Bump. Now he’s been dumped. Ahem, moving on.
Family Appeal
There are some very nasty relationship allegations today on the Chicago Sun Times blog. The very reputable paper is reporting that both Kim K and actress Sanaa Lathan have their sights set on Kobe. That’s harmless enough.
What’s not harmless is that they imply that momager supreme, Kris Jenner, may have a hand in Kobe’s split with his wife. They imply that Mama Kardashian might have told wifey Vanessa a gem or two about Kobe’s alleged sexual infidelities; yikes! Of course the split would leave Mr. Bryant free and able to date someone else who is available, like Kim.
Meanwhile, poor Kris Humphries was booed as he returned to basketball last night.
