The band indeed had a plan for taking on the ugly taunts of the crowd holding signs saying things like “God Loves Dead Soldiers”, “Fag Enablers”,”Fags are beasts” and “You’re Going to Hell” mixed in the a few abortion signs. It seemed unclear exactly what was being protested and why a rock band was the embodiment of enabling anyone, but The Foo Fighters, known for their quick wit and sense of humor quickly took to devising a plan to make fun of the group by putting on their redneck best and singing and taunting on the back of a flat bed truck as fans waiting to get in the show cheered. Preaching tolerance, Dave Grohl and crew got the last word for sure.

What is sick about the intolerance in this country is people brought out their young children to be involved and for what exactly? How does anyone know the intentions of God? Wasn’t it written to have respect and love for others so where exactly does someone think they have the right to hit to picket another’s way of life? It’s amazing there is still such hate out there.
Good thinking to defuse the situation with humor, Foo’s before violence erupted between the fans in line and the protest group.
