Five Bible Verses to Encourage You Today

God has many reasons for what He does. We get to be grateful to see the sun rise, starting a new day. Each day is a reminder to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for everything we have. Don’t let today pass without tasting the Word.

Romans 12:6

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. Each of us has particular strengths. Sometimes even the least of us has the most to teach. This verse reminds us to have grace with our brothers and sisters. See Romans 15:1 for another example of acceptance.

Hebrews 10:22

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. No matter which sins that believers are carrying around, Hebrews directs us to drop them. When we approach the Lord, it should be with the knowledge that we are forgiven.

John 4:13-14

. Here, Jesus is with the Samarian woman at the well. Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” Jesus spoke in parables and with hidden meaning, so this passage is a puzzle for some. It’s partly mixed with the concept of taking Him into your body, and of being sustained by the Spirit, which earthly refreshments can never match .He is talking in this instance about His word, and the promises from the Father: redemption of the believer.

Matthew 12:25

. After healing a blind and mute man, Christ was celebrated. But he was accused by some who said he needed Satan’s help to perform the miracle. Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.” A common theme in the Bible is remembering to serve only one master. Anyone who tries to worship God and continue living the old life, as if he wasn’t saved, is only fooling himself.

Galatians 5:7

. You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? It’s a question to the Christians. Anyone who is following Jesus Christ. The follower must treat this journey as if they are training for a marathon. A good long-distance runner keeps his eyes ahead; looking back or to the sides is a waste of attention and energy. Christ is the goal. The material world is the distraction.

Proverbs 25:2

. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. Scientists keep defining things, and then a few years later we find out that everything we’ve accepted has slowly changed. God got it right the first time, and it’s up to us to search for Him. This verse reminds the believer to persevere. Proverbs 25:2 reminds us that true wisdom was not meant for the unfaithful or the quitter.

These bible verses may inspire one of the faithful today. Those who are helped by brothers and sisters in their weakest moments must pass that love on to another. Even the strongest Christians need help to remember that God is good, all of the time.
