Precautionary Statement

The cut ends of wires can be very sharp. Handle them very carefully to avoid puncturing the skin when working on crafts. Also, follow J-B Weld labeling for safety warnings and to achieve the desired results.

Make Beautiful Bracelets with Gathered Wires and Beads

Bracelet crafts are commonly made using stretchy cord, but they can be more impressive when crafted with narrow-gauge wire and beautiful glass beads. This type of bracelet is unique, and they make fantastic gifts. They are also very popular items where crafts are sold.

Begin by cutting several lengths of wire that will fit over the hand and around the wrist. The wires should all be the same length. Cut two 3-inch lengths as well. Add enough beads to just about fill each individual length. Leave one-inch of bare wire on both ends of all of the strands. Place the beaded wires on a flat surface, and use the shorter wires to carefully bind them together about an inch from the ends. Wrap them in a twist tie fashion.

To complete the bracelet, bend the wires to create a curve. Adjoin and carefully twist the ends of the wires to form a circle. Secure the ends of the twisted wires with J-B Weld. This is a two-part product that will bind metal. In four to six hours this beautiful bracelet made with eye-catching beads will be ready to wear.

Candle Crafts with Wire and Beads

Plain pillar candles can look much better when decorated with wires and beads. Begin by threading several eye-catching glass beads on a wire that will wrap around a pillar candle about three or four times. Make kinks to hold each bead in place. They should be evenly spaced.

Next, wrap the beaded wiring around the pillar candle. When bent in the right directions this candle decoration will stay in place. This eye-catching embellishment will add beauty and value to otherwise ordinary pillar candles. When the candlelight shines through the candle, the beads will appear to glow.
