DALLAS COWBOYS FAN SEASON JOURNAL ENTRY#15

The Dallas Cowboys need a win, after last weeks disappointing loss in Philadelphia. They also have a habit of playing up or down to the competition. Dallas has since just after the Jimmy Johnson days had a really bad habit of playing down to the teams they should rout. The St. Louis Rams were an exception to this, the Washington Redskins were not. So who knows, rout or close game, which one shows up Sunday?

The Seahawks have a good defense, but little to no offense. The quarterback position has been like the Cowboys of the late 90’s. Lots potential, lots of changes, but apparently no one who really wants the job. Kind of like a rotating door, people keep getting on, but seem to go right out the other side.

Maybe this week we get a real look at DeMarco Murray. We have seen a great game against the Rams, a so so game against the Eagles, will the real DeMarco please stand up this week? Some of that will be determined by the play calling of Jason Garrett. We need a good mix of pass and run, not one or the other. Dez Bryant needs to shut up and play. Martellus Bennett needs to be cut.

The defense needs to find someone to take Sean Lee’s spot. I have more confidence in the defense than the offense. It would be nice to see the Cowboys play well on both sides of the ball. The Cowboys should win by 2 touchdowns, but then they should not have lost by 27 last week.
