Brooklyn Decker Cheers Andy Roddick to US Open Win

Supporting her man from a player’s box perch, Brooklyn Decker watched on as Andy Roddick took on Julien Benneteau during Day Seven of the 2011 US Open in New York City on Sunday (September 4).

The stunning supermodel/actress drew plenty of stares at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center venue as she intently rooted for her tennis star husband, who ended up winning his match in straight sets 6-1; 6-4; 7-6.

The outing comes as Miss Decker had an embarrassing incident after Andy’s second round match on Friday night (September 2).

Clad in a long sweatshirt, Brooklyn was accidentally mistaken for a fellow press colleague, during which time she received jeers with numerous journalists screaming out, “Hurry up and get on the bus!”

The group was obviously completely unaware that they were talking to Roddick’s wife, who was waiting for her husband to emerge from the locker room. Onlookers reported seeing Decker turn a bit red as she hurriedly walked towards a players’ van.

She’s used to being the center of attention, but last Wednesday (August 31) Brooklyn Decker was content just sitting on the sidelines at the US Open.

The “Just Go With It” stunner was in the house to provide cheering support for her hunky hubby, tennis pro Andy Roddick.

Brooklyn looked amazing in a black dress as she encouraged Roddick in his match against Michael Russell.

And it seems Ms. Decker’s presence was enough to give Andy the competitive edge- he emerged victorious.

After advancing to the fourth round Roddick will take on S pain’s fifth-seeded David Ferrer on Tuesday.
