She's becoming a woman and her body is changing. It's probably rough at school as well. Lugging a pad across the classroom to the bathroom is never a fun trip. Perhaps kids at school are teasing her also. Kids can be cruel. Maybe try buying her tampons...they're more discreet. You could also make a doctors appointment for her, have her talk to a female nurse or to her doctor, or take her to an OBGYN. She sounds like she's a little depressed (with not eating and all) so it might be good for her to see the doctor. The doctor can help her ease her mind.
