- A: Why are you waiting an entire menstural cycle to take another test? Usually with a test you can test with your first morning urine right after a missed period. Why wait this long?If you are that overdue, take a test.. and at home generic version, and if you are over a few days late (sounds like you are almost a month overdue) do not worry about first morning urine. Just take it whenever.Your body knows when you are pregnant, however medical issues and stress can trick your body into thinking you are when you are not. If you are not pregnant.. go see a doctor, because it could be a medical issue. For the gas and nausea take malox anti gas or rolaids. Also zantac was my best friend during my pregnancies.
