Yes. If you keep taking them and ignore the pause days you'll suppress the regular bleeding. Don't make a habit out of it though.

Is it true that taking a bath during menstrual period can harm to our health?
Q: I don't know what is the right question of this, It is when my parents forbid me to take a bath during my menstrual period. I asked why but I've got no answer, Until now, i don't know if this is true or not. I haven't yet ask it to a doctor. I also heard it to my friends cause their parents told them too. Anyone can explain me further about this? Thank you so much.....
A: That's basically an urban myth. Sometimes taking a bath during your period can cause a yeast infection IF you are prone to them or are particularly sensitive. Other than that it's relatively harmless, and certainly no more threatening than a regular bath would be for someone who is prone to infections down there. In fact, a nice warm bath can do a lot to relieve menstrual cramps and premenstrual tension. It's actually ENCOURAGED for women to bathe during their period for this very reason. If your period is particularly heavy, you might rosy up the water a bit, but it's not going to be ugly or disgusting (we don't bleed that quickly) and nothing that a quick run in the shower won't fix if you find it to be a point of concern.
Is this true about menstrual periods?
Q: I've been having my period for about three days and i've been taking two pills of aspirin a day to prevent cramping 325 mg each. Its been working with the pain. I was just wondering can that make my period stronger because i cant tell a difference. I do have vitamin k deficiency, so i dont know wither taking asprin will do anything to me so far i have been fine. But what should i be carefull for. i did pass this morning a blood clot a couple of inches bigger then a quarter but that was my first one since ive gotten my period this month?
A: Blot clots are normal and no, aspirin can't make you period stronger. If you're only taking two pills a day, then that's a perfectly reasonable amount and nothing to worry about. The only aspirin can do is cause stomach upset which can be annoying if you're already dealing with cramps etc, but if you're using it in moderation there's really no issue. Also, look into getting a supplement for your vitamin deficiency (and perhaps also look for something that has iron in it because your iron levels drop quite low during your period).
Is it true that eating jackfruit (langka in Tagalog) during menstrual period would cause abdominal pain?
Q: ...and could even cause death? What could be the possible scientific explanation for this? Or is it just another myth?...Because I've read from a Health book before that it's really fine to eat unriped mango, only it depends on some other girls trained eating style when having menstruation. I'm eating unriped mango even when i have monthly period and nothing bad is happening to me. But i have doubt on eating jackfruit because of what almost everybody is saying that it isn't good when you have period. Is this really true?
A: What a funny myth. The menstrual period itself causes abdominal pain. Jackfruit does not cause death except in the case where a person is so allergic to it that they die. I am not sure if jackfruit even contains allergens that powerful, though. If you get hungry for jackfruit during your menstrual period, go ahead and have it!
