- Irregular menstrual period, daily nausea, and 3 negative pregnancy test both Blood and urine, what's wrong?
- Q: I went to the doctor twice, 2 different doctors. My cycle was 3 days late in May and didn't show up at all in June and I have been nausea since May almost everyday up until today. Both trips to the hospital I did blood tests for pregnancy and blood lab work and they found NOTHING. A week ago I did my own home EPT pregnancy test and both test negative. I am extremely in depression and have been hurt emotionally by lot of people and have many issues in my life but I just don't know if this is why I don't have a period and is nausea daily and tired everyday. I am NOT pregnant. ALL Advice appreciated.

- what could've caused my menstrual period to be short or irregular?
- Q: Usually my periods lasat at least 5 days. This month my period only last 2 days. It was a normal flow, just short. That never happens! The last time I had a short period is when I was pregnant. So I took 2 home tests at 18 and 20 days past ovulation and they were both negative, so I assume I'm not pregnant. I don't know what to make of this. If anyone has any input for me, I'd appreciate it! Thanks for taking the time to read my post!
- A: As people have said before, stress but what hasn't been mentioned is that weight loss can do the same. I recently lost quite a bit of weight and until I gained it back my period came every other month. If this continues on to your next period its a good sign that you have lost too much weight and is your body's way of saying you have to gain it back. Whether stress, weight loss, or something else, good luck!
- Why is my menstrual period lasting 2 weeks or more?
- Q: For most of my life, my periods were irregular (i.e., skipping MONTHS at a time) until I had a baby 5 years ago. After I had her, they were pretty regular and normal. Within the last 5 months or so, they've been lasting just around 2 weeks or longer. Three months ago, I was put on Yaz to see if that would make them regular and shortened. It hasn't worked. The first month, I bled twice for about a week at a time. Second month, it was a little over a week and now, it's been at least two weeks. It's not heavy bleeding but heavy enough to have to wear something. I am seeing my doctor next week BUT I was wondering if anyone else experienced this and if your body corrected itself or what happened? This is really getting old.. fast!!Also, I am 31 years old and I've actually recently lost 12 lbs over the last few months.
- A: My periods have always been irregular. I had one in January and didn't have another until June but I bled pretty much the whole month. I had no cramps or anything just a light rusty flow for over 3 weeks. I have always been on birth control and its never helped. I've never had any babies though. It sucks but my doctor did a bunch of tests and nothing is wrong it just sucks! Sorry that was all probably a little too much information! Just know I feel your pain!
