- A: Get to your doctor immedietely! You may have endometriosis, an ovarian cyst or some other serious problem. If your pain is that severe, I wouldn't wait till morning, I would go to the ER. Trust me, the first time I was in this situation, I found out I had an ovarian tumor the size of a large grapefruit! I have since gone through this many more times. Each time I had pain that was severe it was: an ovarian cyst; uterine infection; adhesions caused from endometriosis, etc. You get the picture....don't wait to seek out medical attention! Take care and feel better.

- A: What she needs to do is take some midol.And what I would continue to do is take midol or ibuprophen right before I start to get cramps, or if she knows when she about to come on.What she can do right now is maybe get a heating pad, this helps my bad cramps in about 5-10 minutes.Or if she doesnt have that then get in the tub and take a hot bath the hot water will relax her,and the cramps.The best pain med I would say for cramps is Midol or Ibuprophen-but you got to take them right before the period comes on.And a warm glass of tea helps alot, so she can also try that.
