Q: Just wondering if any other women have experienced this, i do have a history of ovarium cysts but it has been a long time since i have had one, and i also have not had a menstrual cycle in almost 5 months, i am very concerned i might have ovarium cancer, i have looked up the syptoms but i would really like to see if someone else have ever had the same syptoms and been diagnosed with whatever it may be.
A: First of all you should definately go to the gynecologist if you usually have a normal monthly cycle and for the past 5 months you haven't had a period. Also, if this pain just started you might want to have you pancreas checked out because that is located on your left side. That way you could rule out pancreatitis. (inflammation of the pancreas) That could definately cause pain but wouldn't affect your menstrual cycle. So with all that said, I think that going to a healthcare professional would be a smart thing to do. That way they can test you to see if you have any type of abnormal cells or serious problems.

Is it possible that my bloating is related to my period or does that only apply if you're not on the pill?
A: you CAN, i know the pill is generally s upposed to make those symptoms go away/ lessen, but sometimes you will still feel the common pains of your period. goodluck:)
