- WOMEN..difference between menstrual and pregnancy symptoms?
- Q: i know they are the same but can anybody tell me what they felt that was specifically different that you never experienced during regular menstrual cycles??anything that felt like for sure something wasnt normal/usual? like before a missed period
- A: Not a women, but the only "different" symptoms, which are inconsistent with menstrual cycle, were 1) had very faint pinkish spotting (implantation bleeding, this didn't happen the first time pregnant), 2) had CM again; 3) faint / dizziness. Obviously not all women experience these and it is different from pregnancy to pregnancy as well. All of these showed up before 10dpo, so we had a pretty good idea! Even OPK had a positive and got HPT faint positive at 9DPO.The other pregnancy symptoms that are same as menstrual symptoms (due to high progesterone hormone in pregnancy or during luteal phase) were 1) high temp that stayed high, much higher than ever before, almost fever like; 2) some cramping earlier than unusual (went away after 10DPO); and 3) slight breast tenderness. All of the above are classic pregnancy symptoms. Good luck.

- Difference between birth control spotting and implantation bleeding.?
- Q: I just started taking birth control. I started the first day of my period and three days later I forgot the pills at home and missed a weekend of pills. My fiance and I had unprotected sex after waiting 6 days, however this was during my ovulation period. I experienced a few small drops of blood within a 3 hour period of time yesterday (either 6,7,or 8 days past ovulation) and I am confused whether it could have been implantation bleeding or if it was just spotting from the birth control. My last hormone pill is today, which means I SHOULD get my period this week, however since I forgot to take the pills, will it come later, or maybe not at all? I know I should wait 4 weeks, or a few days after a missed period before testing, but I'm confused on the timing. Does anyone know what the chances of my being pregnant are given these circumstances?I am also experiencing a lot of symptoms of pregnancy but I don't know which are directly from the birth control pills and which could be real. I have been nauseous, but it comes in waves. It isn't just in the morning, it happens all day long, however I haven't gotten physically sick yet. I have frequent urination all day. My heart rate is very very high and I have slight cramping. The day I experienced slight bleeding was the day my heart rate skyrocketed and I was unable to sleep. The next day I had symptoms like menstrual cramps except heavier and less painful. I am also thirsty all the time. Does anyone know if these symptoms are common on birth control or if they are markers of a possible pregnancy?Thank you so much!
- A: Take a test:)
