- Q: I have really bad cramps during my period that sometimes I can't move and I feel so sick. Is there anything I can do or drink that will help reduce the pain? Midol is too expensive for me. What about Advil? Or tea? What about any activities like walking? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

- Is there something I can take to light my menstrual flow during my period (not interested in birth control)?
- Q: Is there a way to greatly lighten my menstrual period? It's to the point now where I go through super strength tampons in two hours, and my cramps are unbearable. I refuse to take birth control of any kind anymore, even the estrogen-free kind, due to the risk of getting breast cancer. My grandmother and mother had it, and my grandmother died from it, and exposing yourself to estrogen for that long greatly increases one's changes. I'm not willing to take that risk anymore. I've tried drinking more water, exercising, and eating healthy, and nothing works. There's got to be something better. Someone please tell me I'm not doomed to live like this ever month. It's been this way ever since I started puberty at age 11, and now I'm 22 and nothing has changed. I'm currently taking an herbal supplement called Menstrual Reg that is supposed to help light and regulate your flow. I've only been on it for a week and so I don't expect to notice anything right away. But it requires taking 9 tablets a day, and it's gotten to be more expensive than birth control ever was. Is there anything else I can do? Is there any other kind of pill out there that can help me? Someone help please before I die from the pain and embarressment of having to go to the bathroom every two hours because my super strength tampon is leaking. It's freaking ridiculous.
- A: Without Birth control or some kinda of hormone, not really. Sorry. :(
