Q: i have read some of the other things on here but none of them helped...i have no idea how to calculate my normal cycle length. can someone please help??
A: ok, if you get your period on march 1st and you have a 28 day cycle, you should get your next period on march 28th regardless of how long your period lasts (typically 4-8 days). period 1: march 1-march 8period 2: march 28-april 5something like that
As soon as you are off the Depo-Prover shot , how long will it take to get a normal menstrual cycle?
Q: I had my last shot in January, and I was supposed to get a shot March 7th, but didn't go. But now I am waiting for my period, and nothing yet and we are almost in May, so I am kind of worried.
A: I used Depo for about 2 years . My husband and I decided for me not to go for my next shot ,and It took about 4 months for my period to return. We tried for almost 2 years afterwards to get pregnant before finally succeeding. For me it was very disappointing every month because i kept thinking I was late and maybe pregnant, but was just the Depo. I am now 24 weeks pregnant ,so dont give up !! I wish you lots of luck :):)
What is a normal menstrual cycle? How do you count the days to know how long your cycle is?
Q: I have no idea which way of counting is correct. Here are a couple examples of when I have began, started and began again the last couple months. I want to thank all of you who've helped in advance. THANK YOU! BEGAN PERIOD: Oct. 30 and ENDED PERIOD: Nov. 5thBEGAN PERIOD: Nov. 24 and ENDED PERIOD: Dec. 1stBEGAN PERIOD: Dec. 18 and ENDED PERIOD: Dec. 25BEGAN PERIOD: Jan. 12 to currently 2 days into my periodHow do I count the days? Is having a period every 17-19 days normal?? I'm very confused. Thanks all in advance!
A: You count from first day of bleeding to first day of bleeding. So your cycle went from Oct. 30 through Nov. 23. = 25 daysThe next went from Nov 24 to Dec. 17. = 24 daysThe next went from Dec 18 to Jan. 11. = 25 days. You've got a 24 to 25 day cycle. That's normal. Short, but normal.
