- A: For one thing, your body is not getting any nutrients since the person is not taking any nutrients into the body to be well or stay well. The body lives on live foods, not dead diet sodas. The vibrations to keep our body alive and support its health come from alive foods. There is also vibrations in the color of the foods also. Red foods stimulate, green foods, heal, blue foods calm the body, yellow foods are the foods that stimulate the colon to move. Without the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes from the food to sustain feed and nourish the person they will starve to death. There is no way that the menstrual cycle will continue to exist without the nutrients to make enough blood for the body much less the cycle. Soon the cycle will stop. Even the electrolytes will disappear. Death will come soon because of malnutrition. Drugs rob the body of necessary nutrients, those addicted to drugs need to take high doses of supplemental nutrients to even start getting well. The reasons for addiction, according to most research, lie in the brain. Chemicals called neurotransmitters carry the signals between neurons in the brain. One of these neurotransmitters, dopamine, plays a pivotal role in transmitting feelings of satifaction, arousal, and reward, so that every time we experience these feelings, we have the desire to replicate them by doing whatever it was that caused them before. This may account for the repetition inherent in addictive behavior. Alcohol, nicotine, marijuana, cocaine, and amphetamines are a few of the substances that increase dopamine levels in the brain, and the more they are used, the more deeply these substances are associated with pleasure and reward, and the more profound the dependency. It is also thought that people who become addicted to a substance come to take less pleasure in things they used to do. Research has shown that their brains show less response to other pleasurable pursuits, such as listening to their favorite piece of music, than do the brain scans of people not involved in substance abuse. They even show signs of decreased desire to work socialize, have extreme drowsiness, inattentiveness, frequent mood swings, restlessness, personality changes, and a loss of appetite. They have all kinds of drug withdrawal symptoms. They deffinitely need to be under the care of a doctor to get well. Hope that will help you.
