- What's a good way to describe the pain level of Menstrual Cramps?
- Q: Todays the first day of my period. I usually suffer real bad menstrual pains including unbearable cramps that Midol usually can't help. Like every month, my boyfriend gives me a hard time when I stay home and cry with cramps... saying "They can't be that bad, girls are just wusses and can't stand pain. Its no biggie".If you're a woman, you know it IS a biggie to a lot of women. What's a simple way that I could describe the pain I'm in to my boyfriend so he could actually understand? Thanks!*And if you could include a way to ease these cramps, that would be much appreciated please*

Kick your boyfriend in the stomach (or back, depending on where you're having cramps at that time) and if he cries tell him, "It can't be that bad, jeez, guys are just wusses and can't stand pain. It's no biggie." =)I used to just explain what was going on "inside" when guys would tell me that cramps can't be that bad. "My stomach is literally twisting itself into knots to squeeze off layers of the inside of my uterus and ripping at my insides and you're telling me it can't be that bad?" And then of course, they'd be grossed out, which usually got 'em off my case. lolTIP FOR LADIES WITH BAD CRAMPS WHO DON'T HAVE HEATING PADS!AN INSTANT (SOCK) HEATING PAD! Things you'll need; 1] old clean sock (no holes) 2] a half box of instant rice 3] a microwavePoor the rice into the sock, tie a knot in the end of the sock, stick it in the microwave for two minutes on high. This can be done a million times over. I've had my sock for about a year now. My grandmother showed me how to do this, lol. =) And the sock stays heated for up to an hour each time. Be careful though, at first I wouldn't put it directly on skin, it may become very hot.

- Q: I'm 13 and I have had weird feelings around the area but I'm not sure if they are cramps. Can you describe what yours feel like? Thank you muchly! (:
- A: it is different with different ppl. there is no way to tell but they tend to hurt more when you are over weight than when you are skinny and it tends to hurt even less when you are fit so your best bet is to start working out. when you know your about to start your period don't drink soda with caffein don't eat sweet stuff. it is best to stay away from beans and eat healty and exercise just a little.
- What do your menstrual cramps feel like?
- Q: I have extreme menstrual cramps and right now it's all I can think about (I've already taken 2 vicoden...they seem to be helping a tiny bit with the pain, but mostly I think it has made me a bit loopy so I am dealing with it better lol). So, how would you describe the pain of menstrual cramps? To me I think it feels like my entire middle section is being slowly crushed...by some type of giant python or a bulldozer or something lolLol, thanks you guys...this makes me feel (slightly) better knowing that my insides are not alone in this torture :P
- A: I usually explain it as being like having my insides stabbed and pulled out with a fork. That or having them placed in a blender. I don't have so much trouble anymore since I've been on birth control though.
