Q: I say 1989’s BATMAN. In my true opinion, BATMAN is the greatest movie ever made! I studied film when I got out of highschool and I gotta say, this film was perfect in every way, in everything it tried to accomplish. Him and Batman were not just alter egos…he was no longer just Bruce Wayne in a bat costume. He was just…Batman!And Jack as the Joker…don’t even get me started!Even before the script was written, even before Tim Burton joined in, Jack Nicholson was the one and only choice for the role. He was and still is today, the most achieved and successful actor, having the most oscars and most nominations of any actor in history and being on both covers of People and Time!The idea here was to portray the then-and-now-current comic book Joker as faithful as possible.Visually, he is the 100% perfect reflection of the comic book – the EXACT same gangster outfit completed with same hat, pointy eyebrows, purple eyeshadow, heavy laugh lines and the permanent, unnatural smile, in the movie caused by a failed plastic surgery trying to repair a shot wound. Truly a grotesque freak.

A: Definitely, DEFINITELY the first one. I’m partial to Tim Burton anyway, so it’s kind of a no-brainer for me. Keaton was not only a great choice for Batman, but he was also awesome at portraying Bruce Wayne. And of course, Jack Nicholson as the Joker was a stroke of genius. Heath Ledger was pretty cool, but Nicholson was a lot more charismatic and fun to watch. So to me, there’s no contest.Also, I love you for mentioning Danny Elfman’s score. It’s one of my favorites(although his music for Edward Scissorhands will always be Numero Uno in my book). Burton plus Elfman equals AWESOME.

A: Batman was a great movie and I thought Michael Keaton was the best of them all.. However, I am a fan of Batman Returns and The Dark Knight. Christian Bale is cool though his hoarse voice gets a little old. I don’t know if I can choose because they’re both so different from each other..
