Will Diamante Have Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, and Justin Bieber-like Success? – Exclusive Video

The success of Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, and Justin Bieber has not only opened doors for young pop artists to make their mark, it also has made it difficult to compete in today’s musical climate. Musicians strive to get their big break just like actors do to get roles in feature films. With the aforementioned musicians’ continual popularity, it’s nearly impossible to reap the benefits when they never seem to leave the spotlight.

Katy Perry:

The “California Gurls” singer’s 2011 could not have gotten any better if she wanted it to. Her “Teenage Dream” album landed her five number one singles. This feat was accomplished only one other time. And that was by the late great Michael Jackson, whose “Bad” album garnered the same amount of number one singles.

Kelly Clarkson:

The “American Idol” champion had a quiet 2011 in terms of media scrutiny. However, that does not mean that her musical career was non-existent. Clarkson’s fifth studio album, “Stronger,” spawned the lead single, “Mr. Know It All,” which debuted at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single went international, landing at number one on both the Australian and South Korean charts.

Justin Bieber:

Leave it to Bieber to owe his success to YouTube, who became one of the few pop stars to make a name for himself via the website. The result of these videos was a meeting with R&B superstar Usher. The rest as they say is history. The “Baby” singer became such a big deal, Forbes magazine ranked him number 2 on the Best-Paid Celebrities Under 30 list.

Diamante:

One young pop singer that is making the right moves to ensure stardom is 15-year-old Diamante, whose single “Impossible” has been nominated for Song of the Year for the Independent Music Awards 2012. The singer and songwriter’s hit song, “Just For One Day,” shot to number 1 on the Tween Pop Radio chart and was in the top 10 for ten straight weeks.

All the Right Moves:

Music is such a subjective medium that many times stars become stars for everything but their musical talent. I’ve been fortunate to meet and interview musicians that may never get the love they deserve, not because they’re not good enough, but rather the media like to grab a hold of who’s hot and beat them to death. Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson and Justin Bieber deserve their success, but do we really need to keep talking about them?

Give Diamante a chance and maybe she’ll be the one that is being talked about in 2012. If you don’t believe me, just see for yourself. Here is the exclusive world premiere video of “Impossible,” set to drop everywhere on January 29, 2012: http://youtu.be/SSn52OWo_kc.
