Weight Watchers Chocolate Creme Cake — I Can Have My Cake and Eat it Too!

When I was younger I never had a problem dropping ten pounds very quickly. Now that I am in my mid fifties I have to watch what I eat every single day, and the Weight Watchers diet plan helps me stay on track, but still allows me to eat cake from time to time. Cake, you ask? Why yes!

I have recently discovered Weight Watchers Chocolate Creme Cake, and it is absolutely delicious and takes away my craving for something sweet. The hardest part of a diet is feeling deprived, but I certainly don’t feel deprived when I enjoy this chocolate cake.

The box contains 6 individually wrapped pieces of cake, each one small but enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. The point value is right on the front of the box, stating that there is a Points Plus value of two per piece of cake.

The front of the box states the Weight Watchers Chocolate Creme Cake contains only 90 calories and 4 grams of fiber, and that it has a “Rich and creamy filling”. I’m not sure why fresh raspberries are pictured on the box because I didn’t detect any raspberry flavor. Each cake is rich and moist, with a thick and creamy chocolate filling and a thin chocolate layer of frosting on top. It reminds me of Devil’s Food Cake and it tastes amazing. I have to hold myself back or I’d eat several in one sitting!

Each piece of Weight Watchers Chocolate Creme Cake contains 90 calories, 3.5 grams of fat, 25 milligrams of cholesterol, 130 milligrams of sodium, 16 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of dietary fiber, 9 grams of sugars and even one gram of protein. It also provides 6% iron and 4% calcium.

I have tried a wide variety of the Weight Watchers desserts and snacks, and while a couple of them were disappointing, this chocolate cake surely exceeded my expectations.
