Walgreens’ Cafe W Banana Nut Muffin

Last night, I ate a Walgreens Cafe W Banana Nut Muffin alongside a bowl of vanilla ice cream. This reasonably priced banana nut muffin is one of the many wonderful Cafe W food products that are stocked and sold at Walgreens Pharmacies everywhere. The combination of muffin and ice cream was delicious and I hope to eat the same dessert in the future. After eating this banana nut muffin more than once, I think it would be a good product to review.

Presented here, as a service to the consumer at large, is an article which reviews and examines Walgreens’ Cafe W Banana Nut Muffin.

So far, I have eaten one of these muffins three times. Only once, was I able to get two servings from one of these muffins. The other two times, the item tasted so good, I had to eat the entire muffin. In physical size, this muffin is pretty good sized, it measures – in at roughly 2.5″ x 3.0″.

Price
The regular retail price charged for one 4.5 ounce Cafe W Banana Nut Muffin at Hartford, Connecticut area Walgreens Pharmacies is approximately $1.29.

This price seems reasonable to me. This muffin is comparable in many ways to a bakery made muffin, most of which usually sell for at least this price.

Texture
For the most part, this banana nut muffin features an appealing texture. The inside of the muffin is soft and the top section is appealingly brown, with a slightly firmer texture than that of the muffin interior.

Being a banana nut muffin, it’s reasonable to assume that there would be a multitude of nuts present. While there are plenty of pieces of what appear to be walnuts in Walgreens’ Cafe W Banana Nut Muffin, they are quite small, which I actually prefer over too many large sized pieces of nuts.

To be honest, I think that this muffin could stand to be a little bit moister. Every time I’ve eaten one of these muffins, I couldn’t help but notice that it seemed just a tiny bit on the dry side. Overall however, the mouth – feel offered by this item is quite pleasing.
