When I was a kid I’d love to be,
At the amusement park which was near to me.
Willow Grove Park has tons to do,
I loved looking to see what was new.
The Alps had mountains around the tracks,
And the cars went clickety clack.
The cars went higher and higher still,
And then dropped quickly-I got a chill.
I held on tightly and was belted in,
It went so fast, I felt the wind.
Blowing my hair all over the place.
It felt like I was in a race.
I loved this coaster but now it’s gone,
It didn’t have loops – it caused a yawn.
It’s now a mall – a huge domain,
And only pics of the park remain.
